The Agriculture and Commercial Show Society (ACSZ) has refuted speculations circulating on social media that the show grounds is being relocated.
ACSZ President, Caroline Silwamba said the information taking rounds on social media is false and misleading in nature.
Ms Silwamba clarified that the show grounds is not being relocating to any place as reported on the on line media.
She said ACSZ will not be distracted by people who are bent at frustrating the efforts it’s making in improving the infrastructure out look at the show grounds.
Ms Silwamba said this in an exclusive interview last evening at the sideline of the CEO’s Cocktail organised by ACSZ.
Meanwhile, Ms Silwamba has disclosed that the society has dedicated three days of this year’s agriculture show for promoting industrial trade.
She noted that the three days is aimed at promoting trade links between show goers and exhibitors.
Ms Silwamba said the society has taken a different approach this year with a view to boost trade.
This year’s Agricultural and Commercial Show running under the theme ‘Embracing Industrial Development’ will take place from July 31 to August 5th, 2019.
