Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe has warned civil servants in the region against involving themselves in smuggling issues.
ZANIS Ndola reports that the PS warned that any civil servant that will be caught up in smuggling issues will be dismissed instantly.
Mr Nundwe has further warned civil servants against reporting late for work.
The Permanent Secretary sounded the warning this morning when he met provincial heads of government departments at the Provincial Administration Office.
He said that he has observed with concern that most of the Heads of government departments do not report for work on time.
He has since warned that he will continue to carryout random visits in various departments to check on compliance towards punctuality.
