A Kasama resident has advised ZAMPOST to come up with proper strategy that will ensure the company remains afloat once it is recapitalized.

Peter Siame said the planned recapitalization of the company is a positive move that will help workers who had last month downed tools due to non-payment of six month salary arrears.

Mr. Siame said this in an interview with ZANIS in Kasama, following recent announcement by government that it would engage the Ministry of Finance to release about K50 million to recapitalize the company.

He has however charged that the company needs to develop proper strategies that will revamp the smooth running of the institution once the process of recapitalization is done.

Mr. Siame explained some of the strategy as employing of professional human resource and well qualified managers with competencies to turn around the institution.
