Former Kabwe Secondary School pupils have joined the fight against cholera and have donated assorted cleaning items to the school worth thousands of kwacha.

Kabwe District Commissioner, Dominic Mulenga who received the donation on behalf of the school management, praised the former pupils for the noble gesture.

Mr. Mulenga said government is happy to work with the local people in the fight against Cholera that has hit Lusaka and other parts of the country. The DC urged members of staff at the school and the pupils to put the donated items to good use to prevent cholera and outbreak of other water borne communicable diseases.

And former Kabwe Secondary School Association Chairperson, Cyprian Mooya, said the former pupils are pleased to work with the institution in the fight against the disease.

Mr. Mooya said the institution played a huge role in shaping their lives and it was now time for them to pay back.
