Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), President Andrew Kamanga has demanded for an outright win over the Brave Warriors of Namibia.
The FAZ President said this in a goodwill message to the Zambia Senior Men’s National team as they take on the Brave warriors in the Cameroon 2019 Africa cup of nation’s qualifiers.
Mr. Kamanga said that a win over the brave warriors will rekindle Chipolopolo’s hopes of getting to Cameroon.
He disclosed that the soccer fraternity has seen some new developments at national level with the appointment of a new national head coach Sven Vandenbroek.
Mr. Kamanga explained that this will be Vandenbroek’s first game as Zambia National Team head coach and wished him the best of luck.
He revealed that there has been some new developments on the pitch and Vandenbroek has extended an olive branch to a lot of players in the spirit of giving everyone an equal opportunity.
Mr. Kamanga said the results are a clear signal that Zambians have rejected politics of bitterness, lies, hatred and cheap propaganda.
He appealed to all selected players to take advantage of the opportunity and prove their worth to the coach and the nation as a whole.
Mr. Kamanga revealed that it is the Association’s belief that Chipolopolo be among Africa’s finest in Cameroon for the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Chipolopolo missed out on 2017 edition of the Africa Cup of nations.
