Kanyundo Community School Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Chairperson in Mufumbwe District, Mark Phiri has appealed to well-wishers to help construct a one by three classroom block.
Mr Phiri said the community school located in Kabipupu ward is faced with a shortage of classroom space.
He stated that the school only has one classroom against a total of 115 pupils enrolled at the school.
Mr Phiri further said the school management has been forced to shift two out of the four classes to a nearby church in the area.
And one of the parents at the school, Rebecca Kabiza expressed gratitude over the establishment of the community school in the area in 2010.
Ms Kabiza noted that many children dropped out of school as they used to walk a long distance from Kanyundo village to reach Kabipupu Day Primary School.
And the only classroom at Kanyundo Community School that the pupils are currently using is also not complete as there are some minor works remaining on the building.
