Minister of Youth and Sport, Emmanuel Mulenga has implored youths across the country to make decisions that will positively impact their lives.
ZANIS reports that Mr Mulenga said young people should in fact be God fearing and prayer warriors if the desires of their hearts were to be achieved because God was and the tittle- holder of everything on the earth.
The Minister said this in Luanshya during the Zambia Fellowship Evangelical Students (ZAFES) World Students’ Day of Prayer.
Mr Mulenga said added that if youths engage God in all their activities, they will create a solid relationship with their Creator who will in turn open windows of blessings to their needs.
Mr Mulenga said as government was working round the clock in ensuring that issues affecting the youth are addressed, young people should also seek the presence of God in some of the economic and social challenges they could be going through.
He said government is working hard to ensure the plight of young people is addressed.
Further, Mr Mulenga urged the youthful population to make it a norm to seek guidance from old people on social matters, adding that the aged were endowed with numerous solutions to some of the challenges young people are facing.
He said Zambia is looking forward to a generation that will provide solutions to its economic challenges and in turn propel growth of economies in their respective communities than to be used as forms of violence.
And Speaking at the same event, Mbao Mbao from Grace Worship Centre said young people should also long for leadership positions in the political sphere of the country.
Elder Mbao said instead of wasting time to abuse drugs and alcohol, the youth should create solid relationships with God who he said was key to every individuals prosperity.
