Tanzanian boxer, Halima Yazudu says she is ready to throw some swift punches even today against her Zambian counterpart Catherine Phiri.
ZANIS sports reports that Yazudu says she has adequately prepared and ready to beat Catherine even today.
The Tanzania woman boxer said this at the weigh in ceremony in Solwezi District, today. She weighed in by 52.5 kilograms.
Similarly, Catherine who weighed 52.3 kilograms said she has been training hard ahead of the fight in the last three months.
She shadow boxed and demonstrated some of her ‘new’ punches she will use to floor her opponent during tomorrow’s fight that is expected to bring the provincial capital to a standstill.
“I want the young girls to see some punches that will inspire them to fight against being married at a tender age when they have a bright future,” she said.
With five bouts on the table, everything has been set, the boxing ring is ready, and the judges have their eyes in check, while coaches have their confidence in their boxers.
