Zambia’s Red Arrows Rugby Club says it has set up a pre-season training camp in Pretoria, South Africa ahead of the 2018 Rugby season.

The Club is scheduled to play Tshwane University of Technology in a curtain raiser game between the Blue Bulls rugby club and Jaguars of Argentina slated for Loftus B field in Pretoria.

ZANIS sports reports Club’s Media and Liaisons Officer Lt Miyoba Haangala says the training camp would help the players learn from other clubs.

Speaking on arrival in Pretoria, South Africa Lt Haangala added that the training and interactions would enhance professional coaching tips for the club coaches.

She said the exposure and interactions with other teams would enable Red Arrows Rugby Club up their game.

The team is being hosted by the Blue Bull Right Academy of South Africa at the invitation of the club.

And Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba says the pre-season Training Camp was good for the rugby fraternity in Zambia.

Mr. Mwamba said such international exposure needed to be encouraged for Zambian sports clubs to perform better in international engagements.

This is according to a press statement made available to ZANIS by Zambia High Commission in South Africa First Secretary press and Public Relations Naomi Nyawali.
